坐错车 The wrong train

Qùnián shí yuè, Mǎkè yí gè rén qù Nánjīng lǚyóu. Nà tiān tā qǐ de hěn wǎn, gǎn dào huǒchē zhàn de shíhou, kàn dào yí liàng chē kuàiyào kāi le, jiù pǎo le shàngqù.

去年十月，马克一个人去南京旅游。那天他起得很晚，赶到火车站的时候，看到一辆车快要开了，就跑了上去。

Last October, Mark went to Nanjing on his own. That day he got up late. When he got to the station he saw a train about to leave, and jumped on.

Chē kāi le bàn gè xiǎoshí, tā cái fāxiàn bú duì: chuāng wài de fēngjǐng yuè lái yuè xiàng nóngcūn, guǎngbō lǐ shuō de zhàn míng tā yí gè yě méi tīngshuō guò. Yuánlái tā zuò cuò chē le!

车开了半个小时，他才发现不对：窗外的风景越来越像农村，广播里说的站名他一个也没听说过。原来他坐错车了！

Half an hour later he realised something was wrong: the view out of the window looked more and more like countryside, and he’d never heard of any of the stations being announced. He was on the wrong train!

Tā zhī hǎo zài xià yí zhàn xià le chē. Nà shì yí gè hěn xiǎo de dìfang, jiē shàng méiyǒu shénme rén. Tā zhèng bù zhīdào gāi zěnmebàn de shíhou, yí wèi mài shuǐguǒ de āyí rèqíng de gěi tā zhǐ le lù, hái qǐng tā cháng le cháng zhèlǐ de shuǐguǒ.

他只好在下一站下了车。那是一个很小的地方，街上没有什么人。他正不知道该怎么办的时候，一位卖水果的阿姨热情地给他指了路，还请他尝了尝这里的水果。

He had to get off at the next stop. It was a tiny place with hardly anyone on the street. Just as he was wondering what to do, a woman selling fruit kindly showed him the way and offered him some of the local fruit.

Nà tiān, Mǎkè zài zhège xiǎo dìfang zǒu le yí xiàwǔ, pāi le hěn duō zhàopiàn. Hòulái tā chángcháng duì péngyou shuō, nà cì zuò cuò chē, shì tā zài Zhōngguó zuì nánwàng de yí cì lǚxíng.

那天，马克在这个小地方走了一下午，拍了很多照片。后来他常常对朋友说，那次坐错车，是他在中国最难忘的一次旅行。

Mark spent the afternoon walking around the little place and took lots of photos. Later he often told friends that getting on the wrong train was the most memorable trip he had in China.
