HSK test dates

2027 dates

CTI has not published the 2027 calendar yet. The 2025 calendar was published on 7 January 2025 and the 2026 calendar on 24 December 2025. We will add it here as soon as it is out. All 2027 HSK tests will use the new format.

How the deadlines work

• Paper-based tests close about four weeks before the test (27–28 days in 2026), so papers can be printed and shipped. Computer-based tests close about ten days before.
• Your registration only counts once you have paid. Some centres take payment on CTI’s website, others in person or by their own method. Leave time for this.
• Centres don’t run every date. When you register, chinesetest.cn shows only the dates and formats your chosen centre offers.
• Results are posted on chinesetest.cn on the result date. You need your admission ticket number to look them up.

Choosing a date

Work backwards from any deadline you have, such as a university application. Allow for the result date, not just the test date: a paper-based test in late November gives results in late December. If you might need a second try, choose a date that leaves room for one more test before your deadline.
