This is a WordSwing property for people who need the HSK explained accurately and then want something todo. It is not the official test site and not a course marketplace.

How we source exam facts

Structure, registration, scoring, and syllabus dates come from Chinese Testing International / chinesetest.cn and the published 2025 HSK examination syllabus. When we only have secondary reporting (for example a news writeup of a pilot notice), we say so and tell you to confirm with your center.

Study advice — timelines, failure modes, what to practice — is guidance, not regulation. Official documents do not ship a complete method.

Version policy

• Every list, mock, and hub names HSK 2.0 vs HSK 3.0 (or both, labeled).
• We do not publish a vocab count without saying which standard it belongs to.
• We do not treat the 2021 3.0 proposal tables as the 2025 syllabus.
• We do not treat a syllabus implementation month as proof your local sitting already switched.

Practice items

Diagnostics and mocks on this site are original practice, labeled as unofficial. We do not reproduce official past papers.

Placement methodology

The current diagnostic is a 20-item linear quiz. We score accuracy per HSK-ish band and estimate the highest band you still clear. It is a study-routing tool. It is not adaptive IRT and not a certificate.
