A day out shopping and eating with a friend.

Jīntiān shì xīngqī liù, tiānqì hěn hǎo, bù lěng yě bú rè. Shàngwǔ wǒ hé péngyou qù shāngdiàn mǎi dōngxi.

今天是星期六，天气很好，不冷也不热。上午我和朋友去商店买东西。

Today is Saturday. The weather is good, not cold and not hot. In the morning my friend and I went to the shops.

Wǒ mǎi le yí jiàn yīfu, péngyou mǎi le liǎng běn shū. Zhōngwǔ wǒmen qù fàndiàn chī fàn. Wǒ xǐhuan chī mǐfàn, tā xǐhuan chī miànbāo.

我买了一件衣服，朋友买了两本书。中午我们去饭店吃饭。我喜欢吃米饭，她喜欢吃面包。

I bought some clothes and my friend bought two books. At noon we went to a restaurant. I like rice; she likes bread.

Xiàwǔ wǒmen hē le chá, sì diǎn duō huí jiā. Jīntiān hěn gāoxìng!

下午我们喝了茶，四点多回家。今天很高兴！

In the afternoon we had tea and went home after four. It was a happy day!
