打电话 A phone call

Xiao Wang’s mother calls him in the evening.

Wǎnshang bā diǎn, māma gěi Xiǎo Wáng dǎdiànhuà. Māma wèn:"nǐ chī fàn le ma?"

晚上八点，妈妈给小王打电话。妈妈问：“你吃饭了吗？”

At eight in the evening, Xiao Wang’s mum phoned him. She asked, “Have you eaten?”

Xiǎo Wáng shuō:"chī le. Jīntiān gōngzuò hěn duō, wǒ xiànzài xiǎng shuìjiào."

小王说：“吃了。今天工作很多，我现在想睡觉。”

Xiao Wang said, “Yes. There was a lot of work today. I want to sleep now.”

Māma shuō:"míngtiān shì xīngqītiān, nǐ zài jiā hǎo hǎo xiūxi ba."Xiǎo Wáng shuō:"hǎo de, māma zàijiàn!"

妈妈说：“明天是星期天，你在家好好休息吧。”小王说：“好的，妈妈再见！”

Mum said, “Tomorrow is Sunday. Have a good rest at home.” Xiao Wang said, “OK. Bye, Mum!”
