我的家 My family

Xiao Ming introduces the four people in his family.

Wǒ jiào Xiǎo Míng, shì xuéshēng. Wǒ jiā yǒu sì gè rén: bàba, māma, jiějie hé wǒ.

我叫小明，是学生。我家有四个人：爸爸、妈妈、姐姐和我。

My name is Xiao Ming, and I’m a student. There are four people in my family: Dad, Mum, my older sister and me.

Bàba shì yīshēng, tā gōngzuò hěn máng. Māma shì lǎoshī, tā de xuéshēng dōu hěn xǐhuan tā.

爸爸是医生，他工作很忙。妈妈是老师，她的学生都很喜欢她。

Dad is a doctor, and his work keeps him busy. Mum is a teacher, and her students all like her.

Jiějie jīnnián èr shí suì, zài Běijīng shàng dàxué. Tā bú zài jiā, wǒ hěn xiǎng tā. Wǒ hěn ài wǒ de jiā.

姐姐今年二十岁，在北京上大学。她不在家，我很想她。我很爱我的家。

My sister is twenty this year and goes to university in Beijing. She isn’t at home, and I miss her. I love my family.
