以及, 并且, 同时: and (formal)
以及 joins the last item of a formal list; 并且 and 同时 join clauses.

How it works
以及 joins nouns in formal lists, usually before the last item: 时间、地点以及参加人员.
并且 joins verbs or clauses: 他通过了考试，并且拿到了奖学金.
同时 means “at the same time, also”: 他是老师，同时也是作家.
