怎么样: how is it? how about…?
怎么样 asks for an opinion or makes a suggestion: 我们明天去，怎么样？
Structure
- Thing + 怎么样？
- Suggestion, + 怎么样？
How it works
After a noun, 怎么样 asks what something is like: 今天天气怎么样？ = what’s the weather like today?
After a suggestion, it asks whether the other person agrees: 我们去看电影，怎么样？ = how about we see a film?
Don’t confuse it with 怎么, which comes before a verb and asks how to do something.
