既…又… and 一方面…另一方面…: both, on the one hand
既 A 又 B = both A and B (formal). 一方面…另一方面… = on the one hand… on the other….
Structure
- 既 + A + 又 / 也 + B
- 一方面…，另一方面…
How it works
既…又… is a more formal 又…又…: 他既是老师，又是作家.
一方面…另一方面… presents two sides or two reasons: 一方面工作忙，另一方面身体也不好.
Examples

她既聪明又努力。
Tā jì cōngmíng yòu nǔlì.
She is both clever and hard-working.

他既是我的老师，也是我的朋友。
Tā jì shì wǒ de lǎoshī, yě shì wǒ de péngyou.
He is both my teacher and my friend.

一方面我想出国留学，另一方面又不想离开家人。
Yì fāngmiàn wǒ xiǎng chūguó liúxué, lìng yì fāngmiàn yòu bù xiǎng líkāi jiārén.
On the one hand I want to study abroad; on the other, I don’t want to leave my family.

运动既能锻炼身体，又能减轻压力。
Yùndòng jì néng duànliàn shēntǐ, yòu néng jiǎnqīng yālì.
Exercise both strengthens the body and relieves stress.

一方面是工作忙，另一方面是没有兴趣。
Yì fāngmiàn shì gōngzuò máng, lìng yì fāngmiàn shì méiyǒu xìngqù.
Partly work is busy, and partly I’m not interested.
