越来越 and 越…越…: more and more
越来越 = more and more: 天越来越冷. 越 A 越 B = the more A, the more B.
Structure
- 越来越 + adjective / verb
- 越 + A + 越 + B
How it works
越来越 + adjective shows gradual change: 他的汉语越来越好 = his Chinese is getting better and better.
越 A 越 B links two changes: 我越听越喜欢 = the more I listen, the more I like it.
Don’t use 很 or 非常 after 越; 越 already expresses degree.

No 很 after 越来越.
